Born and raised in Milan, Mara began her studies at the Art Academy of Brera achieving two degrees with honors.

Starting from an early age, and through years of exposure, Mara fostered a profound appreciation for the Fashion and Art world.

After successfully landing a coveted position working for Art Critic Philippe Daverio she blossomed in her art knowledge. However, after working in the position for a few years Mara decided to start her career as a makeup artist.

In 2011 she moved to New York to pursue her dreams and grow as an artist. Mara has gone on to work for top clients like Victoria’s Secret, MAC Cosmetics, and Estee Lauder in New York and internationally.

She is currently based out of New York.

Mara adds to her skills by regularly participating in Fashion Week, mostly as a member of Pat Mc Grath’s international makeup team, giving her a unique and deep backstage experience. 

Her approach to makeup is through the eye of a fine art painter. Her focus is to create lasting works of art that can make anyone that sees it have their emotions touched and be inspired to dream. Her knowledge of the Art world is visible in every face she paints.

Mara’s warm, genuine, and pleasant personality never goes unremarked as well as recognized for her great talent and skills as an artist.
